New Labour hates teenage girls

September 29, 2009

Gordon Brown, in his swansong today, said

“It’s time to address a problem that for too long has gone unspoken: the number of children having children,” he declared.

“For it cannot be right for a girl of 16 to get pregnant, be given the keys to a council flat and be left on her own.

“From now on all 16- and 17-year-old parents who get support from the taxpayer will be placed in a network of supervised homes.

“These shared homes will offer not just a roof over their heads, but a new start in life where they learn responsibility and how to raise their children properly.

“That’s better for them, better for their babies and better for us all in the long run.”

He told delegates: “We won’t ever shy away from taking difficult decisions on tough social questions.”

Not far off from compulsory sterilisation of the poor are we?  If you need support from the state, expect to be locked up.  And it won’t even cost the tax-payer anything – I just know Adoption Agencies will already be putting in tenders to run all the new ‘supervised homes’.  Been here before haven’t we, as a quick google search shows.  Wonder what Alan Johnson thinks of this, you know, the Home Secretary who after his mother’s death, was cared for by his seventeen year old sister in a council house.

As for the other area of teenage girl hate New Labour is engaged in, in a word –  Cervarix.  The cheap vaccination that is being pushed onto teenage girls and is making them ill, and in one case reported yesterday, dead

This vaccination which only ‘guards against two strains of the HPV virus’ (instead of the option which would have vaccinated against four strains of the HPV virus including ‘strains 6 and 11, which cause lesions and genital warts’) is being used to vaccinate only teenage girls, as they are the only ones who have sex, contract and spread HPV.  In a similar way that they produce children presumably, in their aim to scrounge off the tax payer and inhabit council houses.

And by the way, this isn’t a vaccination against cervical cancer as the media is so fond of saying, but a vaccination against the HPV virus ‘that can, potentially, reduce by 70% the chances of being diagnosed with cervical cancers’.  Get it right!

Anyways, if teenage girls aren’t spreading diseases with their nasty vaginas or using them to breed, New Labour;Shower of Shit has other plans for them:

And in the next five years not just some but all young people will be staying in education or training until 18.

Would this be workfare perchance?  Education and training aren’t words that can be stretched far enough to cover that whole area of shit!

I wasn’t surprised to see that Brown is, sadly, proud to be institutionalising another quarter of a million children, because that is obviously what all children need, not!

I am proud to announce today that by reforming tax relief we will by the end of the next Parliament be able to give the parents of a quarter of a million two year olds free childcare for the first time.

And bravo on the example chosen to illustrate how New Labour; Shower of Shit are going to be further punishing single parents in an effort to get all of us to burn ourselves to death in old cars with our feral children ‘intervening earlier to stop anti-social behaviour’.

I first saw this tough approach at work in Dundee where a young single mother who got into trouble with drugs was at risk of her kids being taken into care. But within months she was going to college to get a decent job to look after the children she loved.

Choice Brown, choice!!

I rather think teenage girls would prefer it if Brown and his mob did something to curb the rapist’s impunity which leads to this finding:

Female rape victimisation brought to the attention of the police, and also offending, is concentrated in the younger age groups in the Metropolitan Police data. This was particularly the case for victims, with over one in three victims (36%) under the age of 21 and nearly one in six (16%) under the age of 16

Wouldn’t suit the Daily Male type headlines would it though.

Another thing they could do would be to bring back smear tests for teenagers.  I first had a smear test at age 16 and by the age of 25 I had had CIM cells sucessfully treated, but it is all different now under New Labour; Shower of Shit.  Ages have been upped to save money in line with newer guidelines and a recent campaign following Jade Goody’s death from cervical cancer failed.  Ages vary across the UK as obviously cancer risk varies between English and Scottish women for example.

In England, women between 25 and 64 years are screened.  In Northern Ireland and Wales, women between 20 and 64 are screened.  In Scotland, women between 20 and 60 should be screened every 3 years.

Update:  Just watching Jeremy Paxman interviewing the flunkey excusing NL’s rubbish, and it seems these teenage hostels are called Foyers.  They clapped today, but it was a different story in 1999:

Tony Blair’s“social exclusion unit” is examining controversial proposals to encourage young women with babies to live together in blocks, attached to job clubs and healthcare facilities, as part of its investigation into teenage pregnancy. The plans will infuriate some Labour MPs who will see them as a return to Victorian houses for “fallen women”. They follow the row over Home Secretary Jack Straw’s call for teenage mothers who cannot cope to give their children up for adoption.

Brown’s buzzwords today were judged to be change and choice – BOLLOCKS!  More info on Foyers here.  And, they are to be administered and financed by local authorities.  Ha ha!

My niece had a baby when she was about a day past 17. However that was probably ok, cos her parents live in a 6 bedroomed big fuck off Victorian house worth about £600k.

So presumably it’s only bad to have a baby as a teenager if you’re poor then according to noo labour. And yes I nearly screamed when I saw the headline on the Metro.
